Woah! Kelly Rowland took a stand for her (ex?) Destiny’s Child bandmate Michelle Williams during a mini interview at her album listening party. She was asked on her friendship with Beyonce, Kelly said that she’s annoyed that Michelle was always ignore from discussion about the group.

To put it crudely, YES! She fired Matthew Knowles aka Beyonce Knowles‘ dad.

Singer Michelle Williams dissolved her management arrangement with Matthew Knowles and Music World Entertainment. Now she doing it all her on her own. No more Daddy Knowles playing bias towards her project. Finally! Kelly Rowland did it last year. It’s almost expected Michelle Williams will soon-ly follow.

“After much prayer and consideration I have decided to part ways from my management team, Mathew Knowles and Music World Entertainment. From my time in Destiny’s Child to my solo career, I am grateful for everything Mathew and his team has done for me. We’ve shared great success together. However, as I move in a new direction in my career, I felt it was time. I wish Mathew Knowles and the Music World Entertainment family all the best.”

I’m so happy for her!!!! Now she can do her thang without Mr Knowles holding her back!

Sassy Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams announced on Twitter yesterday that she will be reprising the lead role of Roxie Hart in the Broadway adaptation! This will be her second run playing Roxie. Previously, she was playing Miss Hart in London’s West End adaptation of ‘Chicago’. Way to go girl!

Michelle will be the first black Roxie Hart to ever play Boradway’s version of Chicago. She will be replacing Ashley Simpson-Wentz and will star in the production from February 8th to March 28th. She has previous starred two other musicals, ‘Aida’ and ‘The Colour Purple’.
