Another new Michael Jackson track surfaced! This time around featuring Akon.

“Hold My Hand”, a duet with Akon, is a song they recorded in 2007. A handwritten note from Michael belonging to his Estate indicated his desire that “Hold My Hand” be the first single on his next project. However, in its unfinished state, the song leaked out in 2008. Akon recently completed the new and final production of “Hold My Hand.

Akon comments, “The world was not ready to hear ‘Hold My Hand’ when it leaked a couple years ago. We were devastated about it. But its time has definitely come; now in its final state, it has become an incredible, beautiful, anthemic song. I’m so proud to have had the chance to work with Michael, one of my all time idols.”

Michael Jackson’s Breaking News is finally out! And it will be featured on his new album, Michael, which will be out on December 14th! I like the track but the vocals doesnt sound Michael-ish to me and to a lot of people, including Michael’s family. There is controversy surrounding the track because of this.

THIS IS IT! “This is It” is the lead track from Michael Jackson’s upcoming ALBUM and MOVIE with the same title, “This Is It”.

It was unknown when was this song recorded, but some speculated it was during the Off The Wall era. Around 1979. Probably a rejected track for his album.

This song features vocals from Michael’s brothers, The Jacksons though it is unclear whether these vocals were recorded at the same time as the rest of the song, or if they were added after Michael’s death.

Disc one will feature the original album masters of some of Michael’s biggest hits arranged in the same sequence as they appear in the film. The disc ends with two versions of the never-released “This Is It.” This song is featured in the film’s closing sequence and includes backing vocals by Michael’s brothers, the Jacksons.

Disc two offers previously unreleased versions of some of the artist’s classic tracks. This disc also features a touching spoken word poem from Michael Jackson entitled “Planet Earth” that has never been heard before.

It will also feature exclusive  pictures of Michael from his last rehearsal.

And also footages from his performances,  behind the scenes and more over the years of performing.

Tickets for the limited two-week engagement of the film go on sale beginning September 27.

Michael Jackson has contributed some of the most unforgettable moments in the history of the MTV Video Music Awards. In 1984, he won a handful of Moonmen for his “Thriller” video. A decade later, he shared a famous kiss with wife Lisa Marie Presley onstage. The list of epic performances and remarkable pop-culture moments goes on and on.

Following Jackson’s sudden death in June, his sister Janet will return to the VMA stage to pay musical tribute to her brother. On Sunday, Janet — who has won nine VMAs — will make a special appearance at the VMAs to help open the show and honor MJ’s career. Previous reports noting that choreographer Frank Gaston is involved are erroneous.

Airing live Sunday at 9 p.m., the Russell Brand-hosted VMAs will pit Lady Gaga against Beyoncé, as each pop star has nabbed nine nominations, including nods for Video of the Year and Best Female Video. Britney Spears has garnered seven nominations for her “Womanizer” and “Circus” clips in categories like Video of the Year and Best Pop Video. Kanye West, Eminem and Coldplay received four nominations each.

Performers include Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Green Day, Pink, Taylor Swift and Muse. Among the evening’s presenters are Katy Perry, Nelly Furtado, Leighton Meester, Chace Crawford, Ne-Yo and Miranda Cosgrove.

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards will take place this Sunday, September 13, at 9 p.m. ET. Stay tuned all week long for news on additional performers and celebrity presenters.

Michael Jackson’s personal physician will be charged with manslaughter within the next two weeks, a law enforcement source told FOXNews.com.

The source initially said Dr. Conrad Murray could be arrested as soon as next Wednesday — but investigators have decided to execute one more search warrant, likely at a Los Angeles pharmacy, next week in an attempt to gather more evidence against him. The arrest is now expected the following week.

Murray isn’t the only doctor who faces criminal charges in connection with Jackson’s death on June 25. A law enforcement source told FOXNews.com that Jackson’s longtime dermatologist, Dr. Arnold Klein, will be hit with charges related to medical malpractice. Investigators are still building their case against Klein, and he will not be arrested for at least another two weeks, the source said.

Jane Robison, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, denied that prosecutors had decided to charge Jackson’s physicians. “Until police complete their investigation and bring it to our office, there is no way to know what charges may be filed and against whom,” she said.

But the source told FOXNews.com that the DA’s office is currently in talks with investigators about whether they will offer Murray the option of surrendering in Los Angeles, or if he will be arrested in Houston, where he is currently staying.

Investigators initially had hoped to charge Murray with a more serious crime than manslaughter — a defendant may be charged with second degree murder in California without the presence of a motive — but prosecutors are concerned that a jury will be unlikely to convict without one, sources said. Unless a “smoking gun” is found in next week’s search, Murray will be charged with manslaughter.

Law enforcement sources previously told FOXNews.com that Murray admitted he gave the King of Pop the intravenous anesthetic propofol to help him sleep just hours before his death — and that propofol was at least a contributing factor in the 50-year-old entertainer’s death.

What a sad day it is. An iconic music artist has passed on. I’m sure everyone knows who he is, for he’s the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. I’ve compiled some of his career milestones which I’m gonna highlight on.

Named as Michael Joseph Jackson, he is the 7th of nine children in the Jackson family, he debuted on the music scene at the age of 11 as a member of The Jackson 5 and began a solo career in 1971 while still a member of the group. The Jackson 5 had huge hits like “I Want You Back”, “ABC”, “Blame It On the Boogie”, and “I’ll Be There”.

Starting in 1972, Michael released a total of four solo studio albums with Motown, among them is “Got to Be There” and “Ben”. These were released as part of the Jackson 5 franchise, and produced successful singles such as “Got to Be There”, “Ben” and a remake of Bobby Day’s “Rockin’ Robin”.

Off the Wall Era

In 1978, Jackson starred as Scarecrow in the film musical “The Wiz”. The musical scores were arranged by Quincy Jones, who formed a partnership with Michael during the film’s production and agreed to produce the singer’s next solo album “Off the Wall”.

Released August 10th, 1979 on Epic Records, Michael collaborated with a number of other writers and performers such as Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder. He also wrote several of the songs himself, including the lead single, “Don’t Stop ’til You Get Enough”. The album spawned 5 singles in total.

Thriller Era

Thriller is the 6th studio album by Michael Jackson and is considered the best selling album of all time. The album was released on November 30th, 1982. Thriller explores similar genres to those of Off the Wall, including funk, disco, soul, soft rock, R&B and pop. However, Thriller’s lyrics deal with generally darker themes, including paranoia and the supernatural.

Assisted by producer Quincy Jones, Jackson wrote four of Thriller’s nine tracks. Seven of the album’s nine songs were released as singles, and all reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. Thriller cemented Michael’s status as one of the predominant pop stars of the late 20th century, and enabled him to break down racial barriers via his appearances on MTV.

The album remained in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 for 80 consecutive weeks, 37 weeks at the peak. On March 25, 1983, Michael performed live on a television special, both with The Jackson 5 and on his own singing “Billie Jean”. This broadcast debuts his signature dance move—the moonwalk.

Among the albums of Michael’s career, this album is the one that is the most significant. I’m sure everyone would recognise most of the singles and videos from this album.

Bad Era

Bad is the 7th studio album by Michael Jackson and was released on August 31st 1987. This record was released nearly five years after his last studio album. Bad is also the first, and currently the only album ever to feature five Billboard Hot 100 #1 singles.

This album sees Michael have even more freedom over his album than he did with the two previous albums, Off the Wall and Thriller. He wrote and composed 9 of the album’s 11 tracks, and co-wrote and produced another; “Man in the Mirror”.

Dangerous Era

Dangerous is the eighth album by Michael Jackson and was released on November 26th, 1991. It became his second to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Nine singles were released in total from the album.

The major single successes from the album were “Black or White”, “Remember the Time”, “In the Closet”, “Heal the World”, “Who Is It”, and “Will You Be There”.

HIStory Era

HIStory is a double album by Michael Jackson, and is released on June 20th, 1995. This is Michael’s ninth album. The first disc, named “HIStory Begins” consists of a selection of Jackson’s greatest hits from the singer’s past fifteen years, while the second, named “HIStory Continues” features new songs.

The album hsa 5 singles. “Scream/Childhood”, “You Are Not Alone”, “Earth Song”, “They Don’t Care About Us” and “Stranger in Moscow”.

One of the single “Scream”, a duet between Michael and sister Janet, who had agreed to do a duet with her brother after she felt that she “had made it to the top” and she didn’t fear that she’d “had to ride Michael’s coattails”.

Invincible Era

Invincible is the tenth and final studio album by Michael. The album art, an image of Jackson’s face, is available in five different colors – red, green, orange, blue and silver.

The album spawned three singles, “You Rock My World”, “Cry” and “Butterflies”. Being his first studio album in six years (after 1995’s HIStory), expectations were high. Invincible competed a race for the top of the Billboard 200 with some other big releases, Enrique Iglesias’s new album Escape being its biggest contender. In the end, Invincible won the top.

Invincible is generally a commercial success, debuting atop the charts in 13 countries and going on to sell approximately 10 million copies worldwide. It went double-platinum in the US. However, the sales for Invincible were notably low compared to his previous releases, due in part to a diminishing pop music industry, the lack of promotion, no supporting world tour and the label dispute.

1958-2009

Unfortuantely, pop icon / king, Michael Jackson has passed away
According to TMZ :

We’ve just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We’re told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived. A cardiologist at UCLA tells TMZ Jackson died of cardiac arrest.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

A source inside the hospital told us there was “absolute chaos” after Jackson arrrived. People who were with the singer were screaming, “You’ve got to save him! You’ve got to save him!”

We’re told one of the staff members at Jackson’s home called 911.

La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II.

I believe the whole world mourns his death.
Frankly, no one will ever do the moon walk the way he does, and despite
being labelled “Wacko Jacko” for years, I won’t deny he is talented.

And “Bille Jean” will always be my favourite song from him.
