tn-beatreview-ukcharts
Cheryl Cole gains both #1 on the singles and albums chart over the UK last Sunday, (November 1). The Girls Aloud diva wins the battle against her nearest competitors, Westlife and Michael Buble respectively.
Cole dominated the singles charts with her record-breaking hit ‘Fight For This Love’ edging out Irish boy band slash legends Westlife, which sees their latest single - a cover of Daughtry’s ‘What About Now’ debuting at #2.
British R&B Singer sees his former #1 US Single, ‘Down’ entering the singles charts of his home country at #3.

And the biggest pile of shite this week; The Black Eyed Peas’ new single, ‘Meet Me Halfway’ is at #6. How terrible this can be? I mean, please don’t let this follow the ghosts of ‘Boom Boom Pow’ and ‘I Gotta Feeling’. Just don’t let this happen. Puhlease.

Another not so pile of shite is Miley Cyrus. Her new (ahem- NOT!) single, ‘Party In The UK’, I mean ‘Party In The USA’ hits #11 this week. Take note, she was INSIDE the top 10 in midweeks. What happened? Poor Miley, she’ll never have a UK top 10 hit.

It’s time for GaGa! Never seen anything good about her in the last few months since ‘Paparazzi’. The American POP superstar debuts the UK Top 40 this weeek with her latest single, ‘Bad Romance’. The single charts this week at #14 based on digital downloads alone.

Other new entries this week belongs to Scottish alternative band, Biffy Clyro with ‘The Captain’,(#17) Uprising electro-pop house outfit Duck Sauce with ‘Anyway’ (#22)

In the albums chart, Cheryl wins the battle agains Michael Buble. The album, ‘3 Words’ debuts at #1 leaving Michael sit at #2 with ‘Crazy Love’. Last week’s number 1, Alexandra Burke drops to #4 with her debut CD, ‘Overcome’.
