Kylie Minogue - Aphrodite (Album Cover)

Now with some exciting news!!! Kylie’s first studio album release since 2007’s X, “Aphrodite” is the name of her eleventh studio album and is set to be release worldwide in 5th July 2010. What is “Aphrodite” you might wonder?? It is the Greek goddess of love and beauty.

“Aphrodite” features Stuart Price (known for producing Madonna’s Confessions album) as executive producer, with other contributions from Calvin Harris, Jake Shears (from Scissor Sisters), Keane’s Tim Rice-Oxley, Kish Mauve and Kylie herself. Other rumoured contributions includes RedOne, Greg Kurstin and Starsmith. Sounds like an electrified album. =) It should be, since the genre for this album is labeled as Electro-Pop yet again.

One track is definitely gonna be in for sure. “Better Than Today“, was performed by Kylie on her North American For You, for Me concert tour.

Lead single from the album, “All The Lovers“, will be release on 28 June 2010, one week prior the album’s release in the UK. The track was produced by Stuart Price and written by Kish Mauve, who previously wrote and produced “2 Hearts“, the lead single from Kylie’s X album. I’m UBER EXCITED!!! Kish Mauve is one of my fave electro band and their debut album is one of my faves of all time!!! Expecting an electrifying first single. =)
