Ke$ha

When Ke$ha dissed Britney Spears a few weeks ago, there was a huge hoo haa on her lip-syncing comment. (read more here). Then more heat was generated when a demo that Ke$ha recorded bitching Britney leaked. The song in question is Styrofoam.

In an interview with Ke$ha in Australia, she was caught of guard with the Britney question. She crarified the situation by say:

“OK the song ‘Styrofoam’, just to clarify, I didn’t write that bit. That song is from when I was fifteen, and there is a reason that song is not on my record [Animal]. So um, I have to admit, now, I do regret even singing that, because I have mad respect for her, but at the time I was fifteen and didn’t really have the balls not to sing it. I mean that is why it’s not on my record, because I can’t really stand behind it.”

I guess with all the online attacks that she has been getting, best to do some damage control by saying nice nice things… haha!
