Not EVEN close. Whitney Houston is simply the Greatest Singer of all time. Watch her sing this at the Arista 25th Anniversary special or the Grammys. NOBODY can come close to Whitney. Jennifer sounds like she’s screaming and there is nothing beautiful about the tone of her voice. It’s a big voice but I’d rather listen a pleasant tone (like Madonna) over big voice screaming. Whitney is is definition of perfect tone and big voice.
I think that was a good performance. I think jennifer does a really good job its the best ive heard someone sing this song since whitney did it. And if you think thats sreaming, there is something wrong with your ears. Its called vocal power most artist dont have or are to lazy to use it. Jennifer has so much vocal control, So does whitney. Good performance i have nothing bad to say about it.
NEVER! Jennifer is a good singer and definitely can sing, however Whitney blew this song away and her vocal power and phrasing of this song are unmatchable!
