One More Lie (Standing In The Shadows) is the lead single from Craig David’s fifth studio album ‘Signed Sealed Delivered‘, the single is set to be released in the UK in March. The chorus uses a sample from The Four Tops’s hit ‘Standing in the Shadows of Love‘.

To be honest, i’m trying my best to like this track but it’ ain’t working for me. Didn’t like it at all. And i think it’s really a bad sampling job. But somehow i feel this will be a hit on the UK Dancefloor.

    AWW!!! =( I thought the Fusion dance-R&B/Soul sound route he going now suits him to a T. Not as good as “Insomnia” but at least the direction is there. Just that the arrangment is a little off. =)

    I really wanna like this track after Insomnia, but……. I dunno. Sounds a little too Martin Solveig… not enough Craig. That being said, the Red Top mix is good, and probably the best of the bunch, stands out a bit more than others, especially the Haji and Emanuel usual.

    Firstly, this track is okay. It may do well but it doesn’t have a that WOW effect! The main problems with this song is, it sounds rather desperate. I know his last record and “Insomnia” from his greattest hits album didn’t far so well. On “Trust Me” he sampled and again on this album he’s sampling too. People may not like the idea of sampling too much, especially if it’s the first single off an album. I’m just saying from an audoence’s point of view. He had better be on guard, because he’ll be hit hard by critics and they may not be so forgiving.
    C’mon Craig! Where’s that inspiration from your first record? PROVE Them WRONG! +_+
