Cheryl Cole
There are reports that Cheryl Cole maybe in the works on a follow up album after a few months after the release of her debut solo album, 3 Words. It’s either that or she’s re-releasing 3 Words with the US audience in mind. To make thingsgo her way, Cheryl have enlisted Ryan Teddar to help her out
“I got into England early on Saturday and went straight into the studio with Cheryl,” Ryan told the Daily Star. “We’re going to try and take the dance thing in a quirky new direction and make it a little more funky. I’m very excited about the tracks. I’m not going to turn her into something weird but it’s different to anything she’s done.
“Cheryl’s about as famous as J-Lo was in her heyday but she’s so nice and genuine. Cheryl said there are songs Americans can get away with and she can’t. It’s typical for a successful American female to put out a song about how famous or rich they are. But that’s not a British thing to do. Cheryl connects with being real and this is what the songs are about.”
There are rumours that Cheryl Cole will also be one of the X-Factor judges for the US version. Nothing is firmed yet. But you’ll never know. Maybe she’s working fast so her new album release will coincide with the show. That would be one hell of a boost in sales!
I think she would do great in the US. I live here, but I am very into the UK artist. The songs from her current album that would do well are “Stand Up”, “Boy Like You” (with Will.I.Am), and “Fight For This Love” (in that order).
That song “3 Words” would not do well here—I listen to US radio all the time and that song would not be played on our stations–trust me!!
there are a lot of girlslike cherly cole in usa. she can be only 2nd. victoria beckham
I think she will make it in the USA no problem. I have friends in NYC would already have he CD and ‘fight for this love’ is being played in the clubs. If Duffy and Adele made it into the top ten Billboard then I am sure she will. And she is pally with Will.i.am so that will help. I am not sure they will all understand her accent though, as even in the UK, we struggle with Newcastle!
I just dont understand why there was such a push for 3 words to be her choice to break into the usa! My god what were they thinking!!! I live in the US but listen to UK artist avidly. When Fight was released i just knew she’d break into the states with it? Why isnt that song being released here???? The will*i*am duet 3 words is such a wrong choice!!!! Ive got quite a few freinds geared up for Cheryl. they love her and instantly fall in love with her when ever i play the video or just the song which is proof that fight for this love isnt just all about Cheryls looks. The song rocks and deserves a chance.
