Virgin Islander rapper Iyaz prevails Sidney Samson to win the #1 spot in the UK Singles Charts last Sunday. The Carribean singer with his debut single, ‘Replay’ smashed fellow competitions from Dutch DJ, Sidney Samson and American duo 3OH!3.

Sidney Samson already reaching #10 in Australia last year settled for #2 with his infectious ‘Riverside’ while Duo 3OH!3 comfortable jumps 3 places to #3 with their collaboration with Katy Perry, ‘Starstrukk’.

Last week’s #1, Lady Gaga dips 3 places to #4 this week with the first #1 of the decade, ‘Bad Romance’.

Surprisingly, at its 34th week in the chart Florence Welch’s ‘You’ve Got The Love’ jumps 8 places to enter the top five for the first time. It settles at an impressive #5 this week leaping past Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ (#6) and Chipmunk’s ‘Look For Me’ (#7).

Another new entry in the top 10 is British girl band, The Saturdays. Their second single off from their sophomore album ‘Ego’ enters the top 10 after a week of its release. The gorgeous single leaps 8 places to #9 this week.

Other new entries in the top 40 are from Canadian budding singer, Justin Bieber whose UK debut single ‘One Time’ enters at #14. La Roux with a comeback of their 2009 single, ‘In For The Kill’ (#28) and Welsh rock band, Lostprophets who sees their 15th single ‘Where We Belong’ at #32.

In the albums chart, Scottish crooner Paolo Nutini maintains his reign at the top spot with his sophomore LP, ‘Sunny Side Up’ while Florence + The Machine’s ‘Lungs’ jumps 4 placesto #2.
