Kelis' Acapella

Kelis is back with a new track, “Acapella“. “Acapella” is co-written by Kelis and produced by David Guetta. This serves as the lead single of her upcoming album, “Flesh Tones“. Fresh Tones will be her first album under will.i.am’s label.

Since this track has David Guetta written all over it, it explains why the track is very futuristic electro! It’s really out there and its too alternatively indie for my taste. Maybe I appreciate more of Kelis previous offerings like, Bossy and Lil’ Star. I tried to listen to it a few more times but still can’t see why would this make any impact on the charts. Try harder, Kelis! I’m rooting for ya!
