If Leona is to SLOW BALLADS, Alexandra is to FAST DANCEY TUNES

That’s how different musically they are. But the comparisons between those two are always there. Like Britney And Christina. The only common thing they have is the X-Factor winner title. I always liked Leona but she’s getting very one dimensional in this music industry. Somehow i feel she’s becoming like a “wedding singer” (to quote Simon Cowell on Stacey Solomon from last weekend’s X-factor). Maybe that’s why she’s not getting much success with her latest album, Echo.

This is why i prefer Alexandra Burke. She scores in both sides of the pot. She does a mean ballad and her dancey tunes are very believable; like this second single of hers, Broken Heels. Broken Heels is produced by RedOne. I’m loving RedOne’s piano drums beats on this track. It’s really hot. The “Hey Hoo Hey Hoo” male vocalist parts in the chorus background reminds me of her lead single Bad Boys. She maybe guilty for using same stuff here and there but it could be her signature sound for her songs. Heyyy Hooo…
