News: Adam Lambert Talks About His AMA Performance
Adam Lambert has talked about his performance during the AMAs in an interview on The Early Show
According to sources:
The “For Your Entertainment” singer explained that while he knew his antics were a bit racy, he had no idea there would be so much controversy.
“I admit, I did get carried away, but I don’t see anything wrong with it. I do see how people got offended and that was not my intention. My intention was just to interpret the lyrics to my song and have a good time up there.”Adam continued, “ABC was taken a little by surprise—and that wasn’t my intention. I wasn’t being sneaky. It got the most of me.”
Lambert also says he hopes he hasn’t left a sour taste in his fans’ mouths. “This is one song, one production number. I hope people don’t put me in a box and say, ‘Oh, he’s nasty and he’s going to be that way all the time!’ It was one performance.”

His line, “I’m not a babysitter, I’m a performer”… you go Adam. Seriously, people need to just effing get over themselves. “Risque” things happen on every channel all the time, if people don’t want their small children exposed to this kind of stuff, then lock your children in a room.
