It’s strange that we have the video for this first instead of ‘roulette’. After viewing the video, I can understand the direction that Rihanna is going. It’s more to dark hip-hop and R&B instead of the expected electro, which is kinda disappointing. I’ve a feeling that this album might turn off some fans in the process.
The video itself is beautifully shot, albeit weird. The concept ties in with the whole album too. I personally don’t like this direction that she’s going. It’s a little too unfriendly even from a critic’s point of view, but at least it’s not boring and she didn’t played it safe.
And lastly, listening it in HQ and all, I definitely prefer this track to “Hard“. “Hard” should be a banger, not some half-heartedly produced nonsense. Maybe it’s grow on me. For now, enjoy the video!!!

lol! such a budget music video!
but somehow i like the way its shot and the dark grainy effects…
then i was wondering.. how come i havent watched the Russian Roulette music video yet.
and then realized its not out yet!
r u kidding? i loves it!!
gone r the silly “Good Girl Gone Bad” vibes (I’ve always thought “Sell Me Candy” was silly, lol).
she sets off as more serious now…
Lol, i like how u say “budget music video”. Kinda like Beyonce’s “Sweet Dream”, haha!
Like it seemed with Beyonce for “Sweet Dreams”, it looks like they wanted to put together a video quickly for “wait your turn” so to make sure people like the song.
I was really skeptic (spelling?) about “Sweet Dreams” when I first heard it but loved it as soon as I saw the vid.
dudes, this music video is heavy satanic, yall dont see it? check google on illuminati + rihanna. Or just rihanna exposed.
