News: Mariah Carey About To Drop ANOTHER Album!
One week after the release of Mariah Carey’s latest record, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel there are news that Mariah is coming up with another album! Not quite so. Although she failed to debut at #1 on the Billboard Album Chart, she’s not giving up hope for this album. She will be re-releasing Angel which include remixes to every song on the album. Tricky Stewart and Trey Songz spilt details on Carey’s top-secret remix album.

There’s gonna be remixes to everything. I’m actually doing some remixing myself currently ’cause some of these records were so much fun to make. It’s easy to go in and do a remix.
And he has already has something planned for the Foreigner cover.
I’m gonna do a remix to ‘I Want to Know What Love Is’ myself. I’mma raise the tempo up. I’mma try to make it into something else. Once I get the beat and if it calls for the right person, I can get anybody on the phone I want to right now, so I will be using my Rolodex for that.
One of the other featured artists on the new project will be Trey Songz. He recorded a remix to one of Memoirs’ cuts last month.

I think it’s too late for MOAIA to do any impact on BB. hEr biggest mistake is releasing an album chock full of ballads with practically no uptempo songs. She needs a club banger and I just don’t think there’s any in MOAIA even if they change the beat. Good Luck to her though, E=MC2 was one of my faves.
i cant believe it! sounds more like what J LO did for the album of the same name! when her album didnt sell enough music she made a remix album

Mariah is doing this all for the wrong reasons – she just wants to have another number #1 in the billboard – Honey that ain’t going to happen if the same old boring R and B songs remain on this album – i don’t think a remix album will help at all ! All she needs is another album with new producers like those in her first or second albums! Her passion for her music needs to be the motivator, not her craving for another #1 album.
Mariah is doing this because she wants to. Simple as that. Her TRUE fans couldn’t be happier. She’s not trying to have another #1, she’s just so Tight that everyone expects her to be #1. People say that she’s only doing this because Memoirs didn’t debut at #1, ya, that’s why she’s been working on the Remixes for awhile now. C’mon.
I think if her music had more substance…she would have a better album. #1 albums don’t necessarily classify the album as good, timeless or classic. She needs to go back to A: singing (not this whispering) B: working with talented songwriters and producers. C. Take her time between albums and actually WORK on the album. She seems to really just want to bring them out like burgers at McDonalds! NO SUBSTANCE!
