Review: Britney Spears – Bad Girl (Feat. Lil Wayne)
The other time, i tweeted about Britney Spears coming out with a new track called “Dirty Girl“. HOW ORIGINAL RIGHT? Copying us, Christina Aguilera and all! HAHA! But now the track title has changed to Bad Girl! I does remind me of Pussycat Dolls and Rihanna.
Apparently it’s the lead track from her upcoming greatest hits collection, simply titled “The Singles Collection”. The track features Lil’ Wayne and produced by Russ Castella.
It’s not your typically overproduced Britney track, I feel. And it doesn’t have the hook like how Womanizer got us singing “I’m a womanizer womanizer womanizer, baby”…
But don’t you sometimes wonder if it’s Britney you’re listening to or not? It does sound like her, yet at times I’m not too sure. Who knows how Britney sounds like these days. This

Um, this most assuredly, is not Britbrit. It sounds like it could be Lil’ Wayne’s Britbot sex toy he used to create a demo to entice Brit’s team into recording this, but definitely only a demo at best.
The song is decent enough, but as you said for PCD or Danity Kane or something. Heck, I wouldn’t want to see even Rihanna do this track, it’s too cliché and expected. Part of Britney’s appeal is that she is able to get away with doing atypical tracks that kind of help drive the pop scene in a new direction. I mean, the brazen siren intro of ‘Womanizer’ ushered in a slew of other pop songs that boasted a similar effect and repetitive-yet-catchy chorus, and can we be honest, there still has not been a track with as slick of production as ‘Circus,’ this year.
Bottom line, this track is boring and safe compared to what Britney is known for. Sure, it has sexually explicit lyrics and Lil’ Wayne, but Britney is not a rap ho. She’s at her best when she is pushing the envelope with anentire team of A-List producers and a sick, new dance beat pulsing behind her.

The album’s called REVISTED and it’s a great christmas treat coz she’s re=recording all her greatest hits, it’s not just a chunk of entries from their iTunes popped into another CD yeah? GREAT concept. Well if we get Madonna to do somethin’ like that for the CELEBRATION release, she’d probably just hire Oakenfold to remix all her songs into a huge track, too huge for the CD that they’d end up inventing BLU-RAY CDs by accident.
