Remember Flo Rida’s Right Round??? Well, the female vocal on that track is Kesha (or Ke$ha). She is also featured in Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl” music video, and co-wrote The Veronicas’ “This Love”. Now she’s ready to hit it big on her own!!!

She is signed to the RCA/JIVE Label Group in Feb 2009. Quite recent. And she is currently working with producers Dr. Luke and Max Martin on her debut album, due to be released in late 2009. I sense a rather popp-ish and addictive album. =X

Her first single, “TiK ToK“, is going for adds at Mainstream Radio on September 15, 2009 and RCA Records is offering a free download of this song on her official website.

The song has undergone many title changes, it originally leaked on the internet months before its release under the title “Dolla”, then shortly changed to “P Diddy”. It was later confirmed by U.S. radio and Ke$ha’s label that the track’s real name was in fact “TiK ToK”.

I do quite like her stuff. Electro/pop-rock with an attitude. There are a couple of her songs which are currently floating around the net too. Two of her songs, “Backstabber” and “Chain Reaction“, were featured on MTV’s The Hills. Do check it out. =)

I think she’s horrible. On this track she sounds exactly like Uffie- only way lamer- and on “Right Round” she’s indistinguishable from Katy Perry. How about someone original for a change?
