It seems all time favourite girl group PCD is calling it quits, according to the girls Ashley & Melody

According to sources:

Ashley Roberts has reportedly admitted that the Pussycat Dolls have “broken up”.

The singer/dancer has allegedly told fans outside a hotel in London that the girl group have split, reports the Daily Mail.

Ashley Roberts said: “This is the last time we’ll be in the UK as a band. We’ve broken up. We’re sorry.”

The group’s future has been in question for months as lead singer Nicole Scherzinger has reportedly planned to launch a solo career.

Im not really surprised considering the recent saga and drama between the girls. Besides, I’ve always felt
the girls weren’t really a girl group, it was more of Nicole Scherzinger & her backup dancers. Inevitably
all the lime light has being on Nicole alone, not giving the other girls a chance to shine. Hence, anyone with the outright mind would feel injustice.

Also according to Melody’s Twitter:

You know when you realise someone or something you have been involved in or with for a long time is completely beneath you and needs to be over! Yeah.’

Well, I guess it’s over! But it is a lil saddening, because they did bring out some really awesome
catchy tunes, and perhaps, by some stroke of luck, or change of fate, they could work things
out and be back to the way they were before, 5 hot dolls.
