single review: Shakira – She Wolf/Loba

Here we have the spanish version of “She Wolf“, Shakira’s first single taken from her forthcoming English language studio album. It will be used to promote the English album in Spanish-speaking territories. “Loba” was released to radio stations June 29th 2009.

On the first listen, it sounds fresh and not like any other track on the radio. I like the wolf-howling part especially. Definitely a fun track. Awaiting for the english version which would be out on July 14th 2009 on iTunes.

She’s looking like a blond Kim K, and that’s not a compliment.
Yes, she’s striping to get attention and sell records, and the song is horrid…I have my ears bleeding. I don’t like it at all.
I used to like her song, but not this one. I’m waiting for the next.

Hey, it’s a great song. And the sexy cage dance? OMG. Shakira can bring it, and she does. I dunno ’bout the robot though … I really thought that had gone the way of the dodo. But, I love Loba … it is fresh and fine on the radio, and you catch yourself singing it. It’s a great song–tienes celos Sylvie.
