track review: LeToya Luckett – She Ain’t Got

Originally titled as “She Ain’t Got Shit on Me”, but to make it radio friendly, the track was renamed to “She Ain’t Got…“. This track is LeToya Luckett’s second single for her upcoming album, Lady Love. A follow up track from her lead single, Not Anymore which only managed to peaked at #26 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.

This hot woman anthemn is about making sure her man knows that he made a mistake by cheating on her.

According to LeToya:

“In the song, I’m not saying I’m perfect, but my man shouldn’t bring another girl home. The song’s not really about whether this girl he’s cheating on with me has a fat ass or anything! It’s more about the quality that I bring; how much I care for him. It’s really a song for every middle-class woman. It’s speaking for them.”

As of last week, the track has been the most added song over at the Rhythmic stations. Hopefully LeToya Luckett will get her much needed break after Destiny’s Child.
